Hello world!

I haven't got much to update on, I'm sorry guys. After the vaction at Melaka, nothing much has been going on here. But idle hands are the devils payground, and so is an idle mind. And I've realized that being bored makes you lonely, and being lonely makes you sad. So to stop being sad, you've got to stop being lonely, and to stop being lonely, you've got to stop being bored. Fuhh! Ok, so, this is a list of what I have been doing since Melaka to prevent myself from feeling bored, lonely, and sad, all at once.

I've been helping Ayie type out his term paper which is quite fun actually. No, really I'm serious! It kinda gets me prepped up for when I have to do my term paper. And doing something else other than going on Facebook when I switch on my lappy seems much more productive anyways.

The other day we had to go back to Melaka to send Ina to some resort for her induction. It was just Abah, Balqees, Ina and Me actually. Abah made me go to teman him so he wont get sleepy, and I made Balqees come to me teman me so I won't get bored and, to drag her along into the boringness with me. Mum couldn't come cz she was scheduled for an operation that afternoon at Sunway Medical Center. We had to rush back quick to make it in time for the operation. Miraculously though, the doctor had mum checked one last time before the operation and decided that she didn't need the operation after all. Alhamdulillah... When she came home, she literally jumped for joy! She was so happy cz she was so scared to have the operation and has been postponing it for weeks. And typical of mum, she was more worried about having to cancel lectures than she was about having to stay in a hospital bed eating hospital food for a whole week! ick. Haha...

Oh, I ordered something online the other day. I've been so excited waiting for the package to arrive but they've just arrived two days ago so I've been getting my self busy busy busy sewing and then Ina bought me these baking books so I'm in experimenting mode. So far I've only tried out the Key Lime Pie recipe but we're gonna try make mushroom quiche and spicy chicken pie today when she gets back. Oh I'm gonna be sooo fat fat fat! -that's if they turn out alright that is! hehe... Baking and sewing.. I'm feeling very grandmother-ish right now.

Mayon came by Bkt. Jelutong the other day. He had just come back from yet another interview around here. We had lunch and he invited me to his brothers wedding which is gonna be at the end of the month. I'm not so sure about going but he's insisting. And he has insisted I bring my friend that called him handsome when he came to watch our theater. I'm not gonna be mentioning any names but if I do decide to go maybe I'll ask IKA to come with. hehehe...

While the family is off to get Ina at Melaka, I'm staying home by choice. They're sleeping over there so being here in an empty house feels pretty creepy but it's just for one night anyways. I'll live. Just as long as I don't have anymore spinach lasagne. It's gross! Now please excuse me while I go and scrape the green stuff off my tongue.
