Sorry for the lack of updates. Life has been a bore. Nothing to update much on.
I cut my hair the other day. After 6 months I finally cut my hair. I feel happy cz now my head feels a lot lighter but pretty guilty when I look in the mirror and see most my curls are gone. The girl at the salon didn’t make it any easier for me. When I told her I wanted a haircut, she asked,
kenapa nak potong?
Rimas la akak, panjang sangat.
kan dah elok curl macam ni?
susah nak sikat.
Kalau saya, saya tak potong. Sayang.
*Yeah, saya pun sayang.*
But it had to be done. My hair was getting long enough I could pull a prince from the bedroom window with it. And that wouldn’t be such a bad idea actually. I’m mean, I’m still looking to be saved. Only.... my bedroom window faces the back alley. I don’t think the prince charmings go by that way very often. Only the Indonesian workers working on someone’s kitchen passing by every now and then, and besides, I’d prolly get my hair ripped of my scalp and go bald trying to pull someone up. I’d be hideous, in pain, and forever aloneeee... *shivers* depressing.
Oh, yesterday, me and Ina went to Sunway. You see, Hidayah wanted a baby Syrian hamster. Don’t ask me why (she has asked mum for a pet camel before this) She said some girl online was willing to give one to her for free. So, because Hidayah had school, she made me and Ina get it from the girl. Trade point: Sunway Pyramid.
I didn’t mind much. But when we got there, the girl texted Ina and said, “wait2, don’t go yet, the hamster has escaped. I am looking for it now." We were like, whaaaaaaaaaaattt!, Adoi. So, we walked around a little. I didn’t do much shopping though cz Ilyas was there and I don’t shop around boys for some weird reason. I think maybe it’s cz I figured they’d prolly get bored following me around all day trying out different stuff. I had invited him over to have lunch with me and Ina. I was still having that stomach ache from the other day so I barely ate anything much except a few pieces of chili cheese fries which were oh so good but oh so bad for the tummy. It made my tummy ache even moreee. Ouch.
After waiting for more than 3 hours, we finally gave up. Ina had a dinner to go to back at her campus that night so she wanted to go home and get ready. But on the way back, we stopped by a pet shop in Kampung Baru Subang just to see if we could find a hamster for Hidayah and surprise, surprise! They had two-month old Syrian hamsters. Perfect. We bought two. Habis cerita.
Hidayah is naming them Lord Voldermont and Wormtail. Yeah, and she couldn’t have picked more cuter names than those. huh.
I baked shortbread the other day. They turned out to be shortbread owl and teddy cookies. I started off making the teddies but then I found out that their ears kept falling off after I had baked them and had the tendency to get burnt cz they were smaller than the rest of the other teddy counterparts so the cooking was uneven, so I made owls instead which turned out to look more like Squidwards than owls. And when my cousins came over, they favoured the ear-less shortbread teddy cookies more. Now I have many Squidwards left.

I will be going back to campus on Saturday. Was supposed to be tomorrow. The original plan was pick Ede up and then go back so we can clean the house. we're planning to paint the rooms; paint over the icky green stuff but that depends on how much of a bother it would be to paint the walls. But anyway, I was on the phone with Ika earlier today and she said, balik dengan aku je lah! so now me, Ika, and Ede are going back on Saturday together. Yeay!
I can't wait to get back and see them, cz, event though our lives are a bore and we're always saying how we never did ANYTHING during the holidays (or weekends), when we get back, we always have some story or stories that keep us going until one of us looks at the time and says, "OMG dah pukul 5 pagi! Jom tido!"
and we had been talking since midnight. yeah. hehehe...
nak belajar baking boleh?
