Hello peeps!
I'm just back from PD. Was on Holiday with my family, and 3 other families. Hell yeah that's 27 people okayyy!! I think it was just a random thing. I think everybody was getting a little tensed, and things were getting gloomy so they planned this trip as a getaway or something. Besides, this is the only weekend me, Ina, Bakis, Amy, Wani, Saufi, Sober, Faiz are back for the weekend at the same time. We stayed somewhere near the Blue Lagoon (where there's rumoured to be crocodiles lurking in the waters! yikes!), went swimming and had a barbecue by the sea.
But yesterday, while we were barbecuing, something really strange happened. We were just hanging out having fun on the beach when suddenly, just out of nowhere, this extraordinarily strong wind started blowing. People ignored it for a while but then it started getting freakishly strong. I think they thought there was a Tsunami coming. I did. People started running out of the water, grabbing their kids, getting back into their cars as fast as they could, leaving everything behind. It was so hectic. Nobody looked left and right, everyone was just concerned about saving their own families and loved ones. Would you believe me if I told you that in under four minutes, the whole beach was BARE? Well, except for us (who were busy making sure we got everyone in the cars) that is, and these two other families who were kinda still baffled, I guess. But the freak storm lasted only a while. 5 minutes at the most, with barely no rain, just a light drizzle and that strong wind (imagine our barbecue set still going, skidding off along the beach- it was that strong). It was dead calm after that, like nothing had happened. But we took no chances, we grabbed out stuff, our (still burning) barbecue set, with our half cooked food and got out of there as fast as we could, all 27 of us.
We still don't know what happened. Uncle Nan, a specials force police officer, was on duty somewhere around the area. He had some 'function' to attend to between the police and the orang asli. He said at that function, one of the bomohs 'called' rain, and immediately, it rain. Just like that. He said maybe that's got something to do with the freak storm that took place. But he's a little skeptical. So am I. But you're free to believe what ever you want.
Well, anyway, that was yesterday. Today I had to help mum make breakfast and then babysit the kids at the pool (as always) while everybody else packed up to leave. Then, we all headed to Seremban for a wedding. I'm awfully tired but I had an amazing time. It was fun to get together like this. I got to let lose for a while, didn't have to think about unfinished assignments or exams or 'people issues' or any crap like that. I got to play ball on the beach, bury Sakina in the sand and tried to make her look like The Little Mermaid but failed miserably, played hide-and-seek on the hotel grounds (hehehe!), got to get updated with the cousins, watch mak ngah go into the sea and have her kids yelling' "walid! selamatkan umi cepat!" cz they though their mum was drowning. That was awfully cute. haha...
'The Little Mermaid'
But even though I was having so much fun, enjoying myself, being happy, my heart would wander a little now and then. Lately, I've been missing this certain someone you see, and that someones been awfully quiet on his side. I suppose he's busy, so I dared not bother him too much. But then every time, when I was out there on the beach, I'd imagined this line, it's a faint white line, painted on the sand and on the ocean. I'd imagine it was from me to him. Yeah.
You know, I believe that good things are always happening. Yes good things happen everyday. I believe good things happen even when bad things happen, and I believe, that on happy days like today, and yesterday, we can still feel a little sad sometimes.Yeah that's just how much I missed him :P
Don't you ever feel that way sometimes? No? Ok, then maybe it's just me then. Hehe...
If there were a map of the solar system, but instead of stars it showed people and their degrees of separation, my star would be the one you had to travel the most light-years from to get to his.
